Legal
Privacy Policy
Effective October 9, 2026
This policy explains what personal data Eternita LLC (“Eternita”, “we”) collects through www.eternita.co, why, and what you can do about it. We are the controller of that data. To reach us about anything in this policy, use the contact form and choose “Something else”.
What we collect
When you contact us
The contact and assessment forms send us what you type: your name, work email, company,
site URL, topic and message. If you attach an access log, we receive that file, which
typically contains your own visitors’ IP addresses, user agents and requested URLs.
With each submission we also record the page you sent it from, the referring page, any
campaign parameters in the address you arrived with (utm_*, and Google Ads click
identifiers such as gclid), your IP address and your browser’s user agent.
We use this to answer you, to prepare and deliver what you asked for, to keep spam out, and to learn which of our advertising leads to real conversations — for that last purpose we may report a conversion back to Google Ads using the click identifier, and, if you have allowed advertising cookies, a hashed (one-way encoded) copy of your email address.
When you buy a FrontCache subscription
Payment is handled by PayPal; we never see your card details. PayPal sends us your name, email address and subscription identifiers, which we keep to issue and email your license key and to manage renewals and cancellations.
When you browse
With your consent where the law requires it, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and Google Ads measurement to see whether our ads work. Both are loaded through Google Tag Manager. See Cookies and similar technologies.
Legal bases
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on:
- Steps before a contract, and the contract itself — answering your enquiry, delivering an assessment, issuing a license.
- Consent — analytics and advertising cookies, and sending hashed email to Google Ads. You can withdraw it at any time under Cookie settings.
- Legitimate interests — protecting the site and forms from abuse, and recording where an enquiry came from so we can tell which marketing works.
- Legal obligation — keeping billing records.
Cookies and similar technologies
When you first visit, a banner asks which categories to allow. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, analytics and advertising stay off until you choose; elsewhere they are on by default and you can switch them off. Google’s Consent Mode passes your choice to Google’s tags. Change your mind at any time: Cookie settings.
| Name | Category | Set by | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
eternita_consent | Strictly necessary | us (local storage) | Remembers your cookie choice | 12 months |
_ga, _ga_* | Analytics | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visits and sessions | up to 2 years |
_gcl_* | Advertising | Google Ads | Connects an ad click to an enquiry | 90 days |
eternita_attr | Advertising | us (local storage) | Remembers the ad or campaign you arrived from, for the contact form | 90 days |
Some pages embed videos from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode
(youtube-nocookie.com); YouTube may store data on your device once you play a
video. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the services that run this site for us:
- Google — Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager, Fonts, YouTube, and the email account that delivers our notifications and license keys.
- PayPal — subscription payments.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the site and form submissions.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it. These providers may process data in the United States; where data leaves the EEA or the UK, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries — up to 24 months after our last contact, unless they become a customer relationship.
- Access logs you send us — only for the review or assessment they were sent for, and deleted when it ends. Ask us and we will delete them sooner.
- Customer and billing records — for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Analytics data — under the retention set in Google Analytics, at most 14 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to withdraw consent. California residents can also ask what we have collected and ask us to delete it; we do not sell or “share” personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money, and you can turn off advertising cookies under Cookie settings. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
To make a request, use the contact form. If you are in the EEA or the UK and are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority.
Security
Form submissions travel over HTTPS and are stored on our own server, readable only by us. Uploaded logs are kept apart from the website files and are never published.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
